Hi all, I was just …
Hi all, I was just wondering, why so many negative comments and so many people confused…@1:11 and 1:17, he said 3inches instead its 3-foot …that was the reason for the confusion… take a tape and measure a big hall which is 24foot x 32 foot, as he said, you can’t find the perfect centre. you end up at +1inch,if you follow his way then it will be accurate. that is mathematics and forget and forgive those dumbass fkrs comments. don’t give up and keep up your good work.

    Ok I watched this …
Ok I watched this and I must say I was saying WTF!! is he doing all you need to do to find the center is to measure from each wall the the next wall and the length of each wall them at the angle mark the center from both side wow you have the center of the room where you need to start anyways so I think this ol boy is going about it the long way but hey if it gets the job done so be it

  13. Hwrd411 Says:

    when you measure a …
when you measure a room wall to wall w/ a measuring tape you’re kinda guessing because the tape goes up the wall a little and u might be 1/8 off, so what he’s doing is more accurate but I wouldn’t go 3′ from each wall when the room is about 4′10″. I would of went 2′4″ from each wall made marks and find the center of the 2 marks. Basically he’s scaling down the room.

    P.S. He’s still a HACK for his lino vid = )

How come he didn’t use a 3,4,71/2 triangle?

  15. CamperVanDan Says:

    What a ridiculous …
What a ridiculous way to find the centre! Why not just measure the length of the wall and while the tape is still laid out, find the halfway mark? I’m not a professional tiler, but this guy is making hard work of a very simple job…..

    Maybe someone here …
Maybe someone here knows the answer: I have a ceramic floor in my basement and I believe it is mounted straight on the cement. Some areas on the perimeter are sometimes very damp. I can’t tell if its from the walls or thru the floor. Before I tear walls down, I need to eliminate the “thru-the floor” possibility.

Q: Can ceramic floors installed straight on cement “sweat” on up thru to the point of getting very damp/wet?

    Thks

    It took me the …
It took me the whole video to figure out what the is talking about. After he says the length was 4′10″ and he started talking about 3 ft. I guess this is for dumbasses. Why not just find half of that, 2 ft 5 inches would be half. You should have said it was a shortcut or something… I rather make one mark though.
